Our Tangier desert tour starts from the beautiful north of Morocco, passing by the high dramatic Rif Mountains and Tetouan city. On this journey we will take few breaks to take in the magic of nature and to take pictures, then we will arrive at our destination Chefchaouen city or what they call it the Blue Pearl Of Morocco, it's is the traditional Moroccan town hidden in the Rif Mountains . We will start with the blue streets of the old Medina and its stunning side shops, through this journey we will explore the traditional crafts of the city, its friendly locals, their values and the pure Moroccan culture. We will keep navigating into the old Medina that is very influenced by the Spanish architecture. We will have a lunch break to taste the delicious Moroccan dishes of the north, then we will proceed to discover the outstanding monuments. Our lovely evening ends our cosy little hotel in the blue alleys of Chefchaouen.
The second day of the Tangier desert tour starts with an early drive to Fes the surviving old city of Morocco, as we smoothly pass by Ouazan and several other stunning Rif villages. We will first stop Volubilis to enjoy the old Roman Ruins that has a significant part of the Moroccan history. Our next stop would be in Meknes the old Ismalian capital to see its marvellous historical monuments the wonderful Bab El Mansour, Moulay Ismail Shrine as well as the great walls that surround the old Medina. We will continue our drive towards another epic destination that represent the very old city of Fes.
Today on Morocco Tours from Tangier would be an exceptional one as we wander through the first capital of the first Islamic state in the Maghreb (North Africa). Fez for centuries remained the heart of Moroccan and the sub-Saharan economy, and at the time, and it was considered the axis of economic change of Africa. On today's tour we would be visiting the old Medina with its narrow streets and alleys. The captivating shops and bazaars full of artefacts and handmade traditional products, we will go the energetic Jewish quarter "Mallah" and its fascinating architecture, and the oldest and greatest tannery in Africa where the leather is cleaned for the master craftsmen to work with. We will have a break for lunch as nothing in Morocco smells more delicious than barbecued meat; we will continue our discovering journey to eventually spend a nice evening in our cosy traditional Fessi Riad.
Today's tour start with an early drive towards the epical town of Of Merzouga, passing by the incredible Middle Atlas and its overwhelming natural sights. We will pass by Immouzar, Ifrane and its captivating nature with fresh rivers in all over the town, and Azrou, the small berber town located in the middle of the huge cedar forest, where we will take some time to have a walk in the wood, meet the little monkeys and discover Moroccan nature wonders. We will stop in Midelt to have a lunch break to freshen up and to enjoy a tasty Moroccan tajine, in the afternoon we will continue our ride towards Merzouga, to take our camels to our camp so we can spend the night staring at the starry night sky.
We would start our Tangier desert tour by a mesmerizing Camel trek in the middle of the Moroccan Sahara, to try the most adventurous Sahara activities, as Quad biking and sand boarding. We will leave Merzouga the golden Gate and start driving towards Toudra George, thevery famous place among climbers all around the world, we will stay to take pictures and take in all this natural phenomenon, and have a deliciously incredible lunch in one of the local restaurants to finally taste the Sahara food. We will hit the road again towards Dades Gorge where we will be spending the night in a charming little Auberge with the perfect natural view of Sahara mountains.
The sixth day of our Morocco tours from Tangier, would be spent in wandering through the warm Shara regions. The first destination would be Ouarzazate, passing by many gorgeous southern Kasbahs, we would stop on our way admire and to take pictures of the Skoura valley the magical natural landscape. As soon as we get to Ouarzazate, we would stop to have our typical Sahara , after we will have a quick tour in the international film studio of Ouarzazate and its magnificent regions, to leave to another hidden beauty, The Kasbah of "Ait Benhaddou" the UNESCO world heritage site, and the marvellous film studio were great movies were shot as Games of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia and many more. At the end of our day tour, we will go back to Ouarzazate to spend the night in small fancy Hotel with the most traditional architecture.
The seventh adventure of Morocco desert tour starts from Ait Benhaddou with a Sahara breakfast. We will start our drive towards the mesmerizing atlas mountains views, enjoying the ride which full of amazing natural sights, and small traditional villages. Today's destination would be the amazing Essaouira, or "Mogador", the captivating Sahara city next to the blue Atlantic ocean. Delight in this quaint artist’s colony with blue-shuttered houses and wood workshops would capture anybody's heart. We would take you on a walk through the old medina and Jewish community and the busy port that’s home to hundreds of active fishing boats, and relax on the clean beaches of this charming town before settling into your Riad for the cosy night.
Our next adventure will be in the pure the Pearl of the Atlantic coast Essaouira, where we would wander the local fish markets and perhaps enjoy a plate of the day’s catch, walk the streets, inhale the soothing scent of the oil used to polish Thuya, a lovely wood that’s used in many local crafts, and of course shop local boutiques and art galleries for souvenirs to remember your unforgettable time in this resort town. We would be also able to visit the fascinating towers, walls, harbour that makes it more stunning and quiet place to relax. We will spend the last day in Essaouira enjoying the beauty of the calm night in the most beautiful heaven.
Tangier desert tour will take us to Marrakech the red city after a lovely walk on the empty beach. We would have a tour to meet the nice locals and know more about Essaouira's large history. After our tasty lunch at the port, in we will start driving towards Marrakech city, taking great photos and exchange contact information before arriving to our luxurious Hotel in Marrakech , where you would take your warm Hammam (Moroccan Bath) and relax after a long journey.
It's almost the end of your Tangier desert tour, so it has to be a memorable one. Our team would make you feel the beauty and richness of the Moroccan culture while wandering through the ancient capital Imperial that has given its name to the kingdom. We would be visiting The Mederssa Ben Youssef Koranic school; the Koutoubia Minaret, (the mosque of the booksellers), the Saadian tombs, the ruins of the El Badi Palace, the Bahia Palace, and of course the old medina withits colorful souks and the famous Jamma El Fna Square. In the afternoon, we will go to explore the Dar Si Said, museum of Moroccan art, The Menara Gardens and Majorelle, Kotubia mosque and many more magical historical places. We would spend our last evening in the Jamma Lafna square to acquire the tremendous energy and soul of excitement. After an irresistible Tanjia dish ( Marrakech special dish), we would go to our Moroccan style old Riad to have some rest.
Your marvellous southern Moroccan adventure ends after breakfast, where we would take you to the airports and leave of thousands of mixed feelings of joy and solicitude to the magnificent country.
